This paper analyzes the present condition and existend problems of the local reactive power compensation equipment currently

the new-type voltage regulating method are proposed

regulating the end-voltage of the capacitor to regulate the reactive power output of the capacitor. This paper also introduces the reactive power compensation equipment based on the voltage regulating method for the power lines
