Abstract

Basic technical design feature targets of high voltage three phase shunt capacitor are described. The advantages of distributed compensation are presented

The distribution of compensation capacity and the changes of various parameters in practical application are analysed. Steady and reliable operation with apparent compensation effect can be achieved by using the distributed three phase shunt capacitor. Excellent energy caving results will be obtained if the distributed compensation method is used in various oil field and part of countryside distribution line in China.
