A Dry-processed Supercapacitor Electrode Based on Three-dimensional Stereoscopic Film-forming Technology
play a crucial role in the energy revolution and the transformation as well as upgrading of industries due to their such advantages as outstanding power density
fast charge - discharge capability
extreme long cycle life and perfect environmental friendliness. Its application requirements are highly consistent with the strategy in China. Especially in the context of achieving the
dual carbon
goals
promot
ing the developemnt of new energy and realizing the self-reliance in the high - end manufacturing sector
the supercapacitors have become an important technical support in many key fields. However
the traditional wet coating process for the main electrode for mainstream supercapacitors at present are still adopted
which has such problems as weak adhesion
low coating quantity
insufficient flexibility of the electrode sheet and easy crack
resulting in such problems as low capacitance
high internal resistance
excessive gas production and a rapid decrease in both capacitance and internal resistance. In response to the aforementioned issues
we have developed a dry electrode for supercapacitors using three - dimensional stereoscopic film - forming technology. This dry electrode uses fibrous binders with characteristics of strong adhesion
high coating quantity
excellent flexibility
and resistance to high temperatures
pressures and humidity
which significantly improves the comprehensive perofrmance of electrode. The supercapacitors made by this method
compared with the existing commercial wetting process
has achieved high capacitance
low internal resistance
minimal gas production
stable capacitance and internal resistance variationas well as performance of the product. The breakthrough of this technology holds significant strategic importance for promoting the upgrading of energy storage technologies and achieving independent control in the field of high-end manufacturing.
