Abstract

Reactive power controller is a key component for energy saving and electric power quality assurance and its effect is better with higher response rate.The reactive power controller developed in this paper is to identify the power factor by measured phase angle between voltage and current with the use of cosine function tables and carrier CPLD/FPGA.It is a kind of fast response

high reliability and low-price controller.
