Abstract

In the process of constructing rigid smart grid

intelligent type rapid and energy-saving switches are needed urgently for switching capacitor bank.Based on the ideal theory of switching capacitors

a pre-charged phase-control switch for switching capacitor bank is developed successfully.In this paper

the structure and performance characteristics

series classification and applicable load of the switch are described.The effect of thyristor switch is achieved by the use of simple mechanical switch.The engineering application with six advantages is more simple and reliable.
