The present status of reactive power compensation technique in electric power industry is reviewed. Technical features and application of new low voltage var compensators are analysed. Some leading types of var compensators are proposed
which are installations of low voltage SVC
of low voltage dynamic compensation
and of low voltage automatic compensation for each phase . A new static phase corrector is proposed for compensation of the coiling asynchronous motor.
