In this paper

the response spectrum seismic analysis for a reactor is performed by way of setting up 3D model of the reactor and on the basis of ANSYS Mechanical and the response of reactor at8 degree of seismic intensity stress spectrum is obtained. It is found throughout actual comparison that the calculation result and related test value are in well agreement

showing that the numerical calculation of reactor by the use of ANSYS Mechanical can be used in engineering practice

and thus providing importance evidence for the design

development and structure optimization of dry air core reactor.
