this paper designs and presents a electric reactive power compensation system with disturbance detection unit. This system consists of electric system stabilizator

exciting system

disturbance detection unit and static reactive power compensator. The disturbance detection unit can quantify the disturbance through frequency modulation and low pass filter

then compare to the pre-setting detection threshold value

which can realize to regulate dynamically the circuit loads. The disturbance detection unit is located between the static power reactive compensator and the electric system stabilizator

the exciting generator sets and the internal network to provide the dynamic and accurate feed information and to improve the stability of internal electric system in plant.
